The spreader settings for this product were established using standard equipment available from the spreader manufacturer at swath widths and speeds typically used within the industry. Many variables such as walking speed, terrain, particle size, density, and spreader condition can affect these settings. Spreader settings are intended as a guide and unit calibration should still be performed to ensure proper application rates. They are not intended to replace calibration. The Andersons recommends the use of broadcast spreader for its products.

Yup, it works
Just applied to my front yard. Pretty much 100% dormant. Day 2 green! Let’s hope it keeps the crabgrass at bay. So far so good 👍
Does it’s job
I used to use Scott’s crab grass preventer but now I go with Andersons. Stock up while it’s on sale for even better value.
Super disappointed
Followed directions and yet it has disappointed. I am having a significant amount of crabgrass.
The Andersons Home and Garden
We're sorry to hear about this. Crabgrass Preventer must be applied when soil temperatures are averaging 50-55 degrees. If applied after this window, the application may have been too late and crabgrass will continue to grow. If you have further questions, please reach out to our customer service email info@andersonshomeandgarden.com and we'd be happy to help. Thanks, The Andersons Customer Service Team
Crabgrass Preventer
One week after putting down the product my grass was green and weeds have been minimized.
Andersons 26-0-6
I’ve been using Andersons products for years and swear by their Humic DG tech to improve my grass’ uptake of nutrients. This product is their 18 pound bag of granular weed and feed for Early Spring. I highly recommend their fertilizers as well.
