Perennial Rye Blend

The Andersons Perennial Rye Blend is an elite grass seed mix that delivers a deep green color and excellent density, making it ideal for creating lush, vibrant lawns. Known for its exceptional disease resistance and better cold tolerance, this blend is perfect for overseeding applications in all zones. When used on cool-season turf, it helps enhance the overall lawn quality by filling in thin areas and maintaining green coverage throughout the growing season. In warm-season turf locations, perennial rye is used to overseed in the fall to provide a green appearance over the cooler months when bermuda has gone dormant.
This seed blend has been approved by the Alliance for Low Input Sustainable Turf. Rio Bermuda

    The Andersons Rio Bermuda premium grass seed exhibits excellent cold and frost tolerance as well as early spring green-up. This elite bermudagrass seed germinates quickly, has excellent turf quality and good wear tolerance. Bermuda Rio is dark green, fine bladed and dense. Each seed is coated with Watergard NP® to provide 2X water retention and a nutrient charge to give the seedling a healthy start. To protect from Pythium as well as damping-off and poor seed germination under cool and wet environmental conditions, The Andersons Rio Bermuda seed is treated with Apron XL® fungicide.
    Rio Bermuda grows in very dense and has a distinct appearance. You would see great results from this grass seed if you are located in a warm-season location and you are planting a new lawn.
